Mediaworkshop

Hey all, you may have noticed the redesigned homepage at mediaworkshop.com. Over the next couple weeks I will be upgrading the website to highlight my design services, but at the same time I’m going to organize all of my personal design work with a single table of contents.

I used to have this goofy idea that it would be neat to have an “abstract” website with no clearly defined navigation, where you could just click anywhere and something cool would come up, but you wouldn’t necessarily know what it was going to be. However, the end result was that most people didn’t bother to click around because they didn’t even realize there were links to be clicked…

Well, I’m still going to preserve the self-contained abstract web pages, like this one, but I’m also going to provide a straightforward index of all my work.

Below are a few of the images that kinda got buried. Originally these would open in a small window, so they are sized accordingly. I plan to eventually post higher resolution versions. Enjoy!

  2. Hey thanks for the kind words Miker! Here’s a link to that “brain” pic. It was originally inteded as a logo for the first WebMedia intranet, which we were going to call “The Brain”. But it never ended up being used.

Matt, this website is great. Your talents were definitely being held back as a project manager. Good luck on the job hunt and remember you’ve always got a reference here if you need one.

  4. I really appreciate that, John, and I’m glad you had a chance to stop by the website. Hopefully in the coming weeks I’ll get this thing organized and maybe get some new stuff posted.
